"This photo was taken on the southern end of Lake Pend O'reille by Melges 24 sailor and Bayview Yacht Club (Detroit) member, Keith Grzelak. The two boats are a Melges 24 and a JS9000. The cliffs of Bernard Peak are 3000' above the water. The local sailing club, Lake Pend O'reille Yacht Club holds a race each year the first week of January. The lake is 1200' deep so ice isn't a problem. This small bay is 950' deep! - "Twisted Mister." 12/21/09!
