Dear Women Sailors,
We kindly ask you to register to the Women's Championship that it will be in Bracciano, Italy, from August 26 through 29.
The deadline for registration was extended to July 30.
This is a very important event for the Snipe Class and for you, women sailors.
Now there are 16 teams registered and if we get 30 we can award the World Championship trophy.
In Talamone, during the past Open Senior World Championship, many women signed a petition asking for the continuation of the Women's World Championship.
The Women's Championship is an important and special event and that is why you should register as soon as possible. Here are some quotes from those that have attended previous Women's Worlds:
"The Women's Worlds is a special regatta, that most women participate in because it is fun. It has a very different feeling than mixed regattas. Special friendships are made and we can race with our female friends on the same boat ... the Women's Championship and women's sailing is an area of growth for the Class .... The Snipe Class is one of the only classes where women can sail together at an affordable cost".
This is a chance to improve the Snipe Class and women sailing in general.
